AEV RAM PROSPECTOR

The AEV Prospector truck is an everyday workhorse that can take you far beyond where the pavement ends. Based on the 5th generation HD Ram 2500/3500, this uniquely-equipped Prospector truck confidently bridges the gap between daily work truck and recreational off-roader with its impressive capability off-road and refined drivability on the road. AEV’s Prospector package features a number of thoughtfully engineered upgrades to maximize this truck’s versatility, including expedition grade components such as AEV’s iconic stamped steel Front Bumper with an available 16.5 winch, heavy duty steel Rear Bumper, 3” DualSport RT Suspension System and 37” tall BFGoodrich tires. AEV Front Bumper and Winch

The Prospector’s AEV Front Bumper features a 4mm thick, stamped steel exterior which provides superior front end protection and safely accommodates the optional 16.5 winch. Two massive ductile iron tow loops are designed to exceed all OE load specifications and double as wear plates when sliding over steep obstacles.

AEV DualSport Suspension

AEV’s DualSport RT Suspension System delivers the best combination of ride quality and handling over a variety of terrain, without giving up any towing ability or payload. Through extensive R&D, both suspension and steering geometry are optimized, while maximizing wheel travel and gaining the additional lift height necessary to accommodate the Prospector’s 37” tall BFGoodrich tires.

TIRE CARRIER OPTIONS

AEV offers two solutions for mounting the Prospector’s full-size spare wheel/tire: A Horizontal Bed Mount system that is ideal for customers wishing to use a tonneau cover or a Vertical Tire Mount that maximizes the available cargo space in your bed. AEV's Vertical Tire Mount is compatible with many aftermarket toppers.

AEV Rear Bumper

AEV’s heavy duty steel Rear Bumper maximizes the Prospector’s departure angle and offers superior corner protection for the underside of the bed. Heavy duty recovery points allow for fast, secure attachment of 1” D-ring shackles.

AEV Branding

Every AEV Prospector built in our Wixom, Michigan headquarters includes a serial numbered VIN plate, exclusive AEV exterior emblems, windshield banner, embroidered headrests and a custom gauge cluster overlay.
