AEV proudly provides a Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty to the original purchaser of any AEV Accessory. This warranty stipulates that AEV Accessories will be free from material and manufacturing defects and if any defects are discovered, AEV shall — at its sole discretion — either (i) repair the defective part, (ii) replace the defective part, or (iii) reimburse the customer for the purchase price of the defective part.
Note: AEV’s Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase will be required during the warranty claim process. Exclusions and Limitations:
- Second owners of the product in question. AEV’s Lifetime Parts Warranty is only applicable to the original owner of the product.
- Malfunction or failure of any product caused by improper or inadequate maintenance.
- Malfunction or failure of any product caused by abuse, misuse, modifications, improper installation or adjustments, alterations, tampering, neglect, fire, vandalism, use of leaded gasoline, or contaminated fuel.
- Any product made part of a vehicle used in racing, competition or commercial activities of any kind, regardless of whether the failure of the product can be directly linked to the involvement of the vehicle in any race, competition or commercial activity.
- Paint damage, including but not limited to chips, scratches, dents, dings and discoloration caused by rocks, sand, brush, branches, tree sap, bird droppings, wind, sun, hail, snow, salt and chemicals.
- Original AEV paint, powder or dip finishes. Finish defects will receive a one-year warranty.
- Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, rental car charges, hotel expenses or commercial loss caused by a warrantable malfunction.
- Wear items, such as bushings, bump stops, heim-joints, beadlock rings and/or brake rotors.
- Labor to remove damaged parts or install their new/repaired replacements.
- Repair or replacement of non-AEV vehicle parts damaged via use with AEV Accessories.
- Counterfeit AEV Accessories.
- Shipping charges back to AEV.
To make a claim under this Warranty and to obtain a return merchandise authorization number, which will be required if the defective part is to be returned to AEV, please contact AEV at warranty@aev-conversions.com or by contacting the AEV Warranty department at 248-926-0256. Proof of purchase and photo documentation of the defect will be required, and in most situations AEV will require that the defective part be sent back to us for inspection. In situations where a replacement part must be sent to the customer before the defective part can be returned, AEV reserves the right to charge the customer for the replacement part. This charge will be refunded if after inspection, AEV determines that the part was defective and covered under the terms of this Warranty.
