THE LEGEND RETURNS. The AEV Prospector XL Tray Bed concept started out as a personal project of AEV’s President, Dave Harriton, which later evolved into one of the most talked about vehicles we have ever built. The original Prospector XL Tray Bed prototype was first shown at the 2013 SEMA Show and this off road truck bed was produced in a very limited quantity. From arid deserts to the frozen expanse of the Arctic, the Prospector XL Tray Bed proved that it could take on any adventure we threw at it and now we are bringing back this iconic adventure rig for a very limited, 10-unit production run.

As a proven platform that is well-suited for adventure travelers and outdoor recreationalists alike, the AEV Prospector XL Tray Bed for sale is still a heavy-duty truck at heart, capable of towing heavy loads and carrying a significant payload.
Despite its massive 40″ tires, the Prospector XL Tray Bed has a relatively low center of gravity. This, combined with a 3″ DualSport Suspension, gives this adventure-ready truck the superior ride quality, handling and capability that AEV-built vehicles are known for.
